H&M is well known for its annual collections signed by world-famous designers and sells like hot cakes. Lidl, known for its frozen pastries, has gone one step further by hiring a "famous for being famous" self-proclaimed businesswoman—Paris Hilton—to promote her hair styling products. The twist? She's designing them.

Paris Hilton designs for Lidl

Heiress to a hospitality fortune, Hilton is a shrewd woman. Even though she loves being a DJ in Ibiza, she’s now embracing European markets even more. In partnership with Lidl, she has designed a hair dryer, curling iron, brush, and flat iron. We’re curious about her actual involvement in the design process.

Only in Germany and France

Unfortunately for Polish fans of the director and lead actress in the hit production "One Night in Paris," here’s the bad news: the products will be available exclusively in Germany and France. For comfort, we recommend the ad featuring Hilton in a dress worth roughly 1,000 hair dryers, assuming each costs EUR 20.

This is not the first time the celebrity has been linked with advertising. Recall her restaurant ad campaign in the USA.

Summary

Lidl has partnered with Paris Hilton, who designed a line of hair gadgets—including a hair dryer, curling iron, brush, and flat iron. The products will be available only in Germany and France. For Polish fans, it’s a disappointment, but consolation may be that Hilton appeared in an ad wearing a dress worth about 1,000 hair dryers, at EUR 20 each.

This is not the first time the celebrity has engaged in advertising—she previously promoted a burger chain in the USA.
