Apple has accustomed us to releasing a periodic "death list" of products that will no longer be supported or repaired by the company. The time for repairs is running out, as more products will be "retired" on the last day of the year.
On December 31, Apple will stop supporting models that were discontinued more than five years ago. The outdated models being retired are divided into two categories: those that will no longer be supported at all, and those for which post-warranty service will be available in the USA and Turkey.
The updated list includes:
- MacBook Pro (15-inch, early 2011),
- MacBook Pro (17-inch, early 2011),
- Mac mini (early 2009),
- MacBook (13-inch, mid-2009).
This year, support was also discontinued for the iPhone 4, the 2010 MacBook Air, and the Time Capsule 2G.
