Kärcher launches new logo

Since its founding, Alfred Kärcher GmbH has updated its logo multiple times. This year, the company has decided to refresh its logo again. The company name is now written in a modern typeface, and the yellow bar has been restyled. This is the next step following the update of the visual identity system, completing the process of introducing a renewed image for Kärcher, a global leader in cleaning technology.

New typography and yellow bar

“The new Kärcher logo reflects the innovative character of our brand. It consistently communicates the promise of quality we make to our customers,” says Hartmut Jenner, CEO of Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. In the new logo, the typeface FF Clan Pro replaces the previously used Helvetica. The individual letters are now visually lighter and easier to read. The yellow bar beneath the company name references the color of the equipment. The logo can be used with or without the motto “makes a difference”.

The previously used emblem – three triangles in a square – has been separated from the logo. As a result, it is now less complex and more harmonious. The emblem itself will now function as a standalone corporate mark of the company founded by Alfred Kärcher. In the future, it will serve as a “seal” certifying the quality of the company’s products.
