– This is an exciting challenge for us. We were looking for an attractive format for a business website, and Business Insider fits perfectly. It is one of the fastest-growing new media projects on the global internet. For Agora and the Gazeta.pl portal, this is an important step toward strengthening our portfolio of business websites. The new service will deliver even more modern, unique content to our readers, and offer our business partners the opportunity to reach audiences in a rapidly growing thematic category – says Paweł Wujec, Director of the Internet segment at Agora.

Polish editorial team and content from the USA

In the Polish version of Business Insider, content produced by the local editorial team will be dominant, alongside exclusive articles written by the American editorial team. Polish readers will get to know, among others, articles by Henry Blodget, former Wall Street analyst and editor-in-chief of the American Business Insider. The most interesting content from the Polish Business Insider will also be featured on the main page of the Gazeta.pl portal, ensuring broad reach among readers.

– Business Insider delivers excellent business and lifestyle content, and the foundation of this brand’s success is its strong presence in social media. We believe there is room in the Polish internet for a modern, highly social platform covering broad business topics – adds Paweł Stremski, Program and Publishing Director of Gazeta.pl.

– This is the eighth language edition of Business Insider. Poland is an interesting and dynamic media market. We are pleased that our partner here is Agora, which, with support from our international team, will create the Polish version of Business Insider. We believe our experience and the reach of the Gazeta.pl group will lead to success – says Julie Hansen, President and CEO of Business Insider.

Concepts from the article

Gazeta.pl launches Polish edition of Business Insider

BI — Business Intelligence / business intelligence. A set of tools and methods for analyzing business data, generating reports, dashboards, and performance indicators. Helps make decisions based on sales, traffic, costs, and operational efficiency.

Why it matters: Transforms fragmented sales, traffic, and cost data into unified reports used for decision-making. Replaces subjective opinions with clear, consistent data from a single, aligned source.

When to use it: For management reporting, campaign analysis, cost control, and team performance metrics.

Risk of skipping it: Without BI, each department tracks data independently in spreadsheets; the same questions yield different answers, and decisions are made by intuition rather than data.

Summary

Agora will launch the Polish edition of Business Insider through the Gazeta.pl portal. Local editors will produce original content, supplemented by articles from the American team, including those by Henry Blodget, former Wall Street analyst and editor-in-chief of BI. The most compelling content will also appear on the main page of Gazeta.pl.

This is the eighth language version of the service, whose American edition was launched in 2007 by Blodget, Dwight Merriman, and Kevin Ryan, the former CEOs of DoubleClick. Business Insider organizes industry conferences, including Ignition, and operates the BI Intelligence service.
