Sales, not readership — and change against Q4

The change in the last column compares Q2 2026 with Q4 2025, i.e. with a period two quarters earlier. It is not a year-on-year change and may include seasonality; a comparison with Q2 2025 is not available in the public data.

The split of dailies into national and regional is our own — PBC publishes one “Dailies” table with 30 titles. We count business, sports and tax dailies among the national ones.

  • Average issue sales is a three-month average: sales of the printed issue (single copies, subscriptions, multiple-copy sales) and of the e-edition, each at a price of no less than 20% of the single-copy price. Free and promotional distribution is not counted, and digital subscriptions (access to websites) are a separate PBC indicator.
  • The change compares average sales in Q2 2026 with Q4 2025 (the same PBC definition, data from an archived copy of the PBC page), not with Q2 2025. Year-on-year data are in the paid Teleskop system.
  • An empty field (—) means no e-edition sales in the audit or no value in the source; next to a publisher — the source does not give one. “Wprost”, “NIE” and “Fakty i Mity” are not audited in Teleskop, so they are not in the ranking.
  • Detailed monthly data and full indicators with history are in paid access to the Teleskop system; we did not use it. Teleskop (PBC) ↗
