GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation

The Polish name for the EU GDPR: regulations governing the processing of personal data. Requires, among other things, a legal basis, data minimization, appropriate security measures, and the fulfillment of data subjects' rights.

Why it matters

Sets legal boundaries for working with personal data: legal basis, minimization, security, and individuals' rights. Applies to every form, newsletter, and contact database in a company.

What's missing without it

Ignoring the regulations results in fines calculated as a percentage of turnover, and a data breach without proper security leads to additional loss of customer trust.

When it is used

Whenever collecting and processing individuals' data: recordings, consents, exports, and deletion upon request.

How we use it

The consent module records the legal basis for processing and enables handling of customer data deletion requests.
